Massage therapy is usually carried out in the dog's home environment, as in our experience this is where the dog is more relaxed and receptive.

Initial Consultation can take around 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on individual circumstances. This consists of establishing the dog's general health, history, activities and current complaint. This is followed by analysis and assessment of any abnormalities of gait and posture. Subsequently the dog will be examined and an initial massage treatment performed.

Dogs can be a little unsure onthe first visit, limiting the duration of the massage treatment.

Subsequent Visits consist of re-evaluation of the dog's condition, feedback from the owner, and massage treatment. The time taken depends upon individual cases

If applicable an exercise programme will be given. This will be formulated in partnership with the owner.

If Pre- and Post-event massage is required, the timing and location of the therapy will be tailored to suit the individual.
